I never have had issues with SKIL products and this drill did the job I needed it to do with flying colors. The drill itself is pretty powerful and will work for most use cases. My only complaint, and the reason for the one star deduction, is the variable speed trigger. The lower speed end of the trigger is nearly non-existent to the point where it feels like the modes are off, on and turbo. So should you get this drill? I say yes.
