This insert has helped me walk with less pain as it prevents the toe from bending upward. I wear a women’s 9 1/2-10, depending on the shoe, & purchased the size 9 insert - fits perfect in all of the shoes I’ve tried it in! Something important to note, though; the bottom of the insert has started to rust over the last month or so of daily use & has turned the bottom of my shoe(s) an orangey color.
