The 1pack is a knock-off. When the science is legit, you get what you pay for. These work best on zits that are just starting - placing them on painful spots that haven't become bumps will stop the zit from forming. Placing them on zits that are already going, even large painful cystic spots will take several patches over the course of a couple days but will preempt scar formation and heal extremely quickly. You can also put them on old scars to help build tissue, strengthen elasticity and improve discoloration. Unlike my first purchase, I bought it three times more this time! This one really works fast and do not irritate my skin. Honestly, at first, I was a little nervous about micro needle fearing needles might poke my skin. But no. They don’t. The needles are really short and do not bother my skin at all. (I didn’t even feel the needles!) But they do effectively help my skin to absorb some ingredient this product contains. Never experienced this much effective patch. This product can also be put before doing makeup. There is a little white circle in the middle of the patch, which is quite visible at first but disappears within about 30min to 1hr. I've been suffering from cystic acne for about 5 years now and have been through all the creams, all the pills, even spironolactone that landed me in the ER and forced me to do vestibular therapy.
