Good for a sewer that goes places to sew. It will fit on a small table and it’s everything you need so functional for cutting and ironing squares when you’re making quilts. I did not notice a smell. Value is swell. And the handle is perfect. It is a bit heavy okay so just fore warned. I do think it’s the coolest thing ever easily folds up for storing and I bought a small ruler that fits right in the case for travel. My mom is taking it to a craft weekend with her gal pals and she takes it to church with the quilters for her corner. The ironing pad is thick nice quality! So far so good ! And I bought this cute iron to go with it as well so my mom can take with her and she has everything except the sewing notions that she needs to quilt with her buddies!!
