A single edge razor blade is needed to remove many parts without damage. Cutting parts free needs to be done from both sides and it seems best to press the part through from the front to avoid splitting the plywood. Measuring and adjusting the length of of the small rubber bands is tricky, as is fitting them. Every thing works if installed correctly and lubricated. The drawings are tiny and I needed to use a magnifying glass to see some of them. A pdf format version is available on the u-gears website. The only problem I have is that the door hinges do not seem to work very well, and having removed and refitted several times they do not work very well once the body side panels are installed. Take care and time and it is a very satisfying model to make. It does require strong fingers to fit some parts, It would have been nice to have a removable roof and moulded front and rear wind screens. This question is for those that have built this car. What size string was used?** A: I've built two of this model--one for a friend--and never needed string. **Q: What rubber bands are used** A: There are an assortment of rubber bands sizes that come with the kit. The instructions tell you what sizes to use and how to shrink them down to a very specific length. The rubber bands that drive the engine and make the car move are much wider than the others around 8 to 10 millimeters in width and look very heavy duty. **Q: does anyone know what type of car this is", or is close too?** A: I do not believe this car is suppose to be any specific Cabriolet (which is French for convertible). it is very complex and took me 60 to 70 hours to put together. It was very fulfilling to complete it with all of the moving and working parts - especially the fact that it runs. This kit is not for children. Instruction details must be followed exactly. **Q: Would like to buy just the tanker is it available.** A: Your question is a bit vague, does the tanker stand alone or must it be purchased in tandem with something else?
