I'll be honest, it worries me sometimes that a few plastic pieces are suspending my iPad mini six feet in the air, but it's done nothing to lose my trust. As some have mentioned, the pieces are detachable in order to fit various phones and tablets, and by nature, there are small pieces to be lost. But I keep all the pieces in the provided ziplock bag inside a pocket in my tripod case, so that shouldn't be a problem. Overall, it's been AWESOME, and I would highly recommend it to all my friends. The packaging is decieving, when I got it in the mail I thought "There's no way this tiny package has a mount in it," but it does! It works for the iPad Mini, as well as several other similarly sized tablets. I have an Otterbox Defender Case on my iPad Mini, and the clamps stretch out to it just fine-- which was something I was initially worried about when I first set it up. You need to mix and match the attachable clamps to the mount accordingly. It fits great on my tripod and monopod. So if you're looking for a great iPad Mini/tablet mount for your tripod or monopod, get this one!
