A: It has a protective cover just over the front part you use but it's we'll protected in the box so you can put it in a cupboard

A: yes. blades spin round behind a guard, thus enabling safe “shaving” of different fabrics.

**Q: Does it work on a polyester dress?**
A: I have only used this on wool, ie sweaters and jackets but can't see that it wouldn't work on polyester.  Try it somewhere inconspicuous first maybe...

**Q: Does it come with a warranty or money back guarantee?**

It's great quality, fits nicely in the hand, very lightweight, and does an amazing job. My jumper looks newer than the day I bought it! I was genuinely surprised by how effective this Philips Fabric Shaver is. It removed lint, fuzz, and fabric pills from old jumpers, coats. It works especially well on wool jumpers and winter clothing that tend to collect bobbles. I’ve saved several items that I was close to throwing away because they looked worn out. Battery life is good, the device is quiet enough, and overall it’s one of those small household gadgets that turns out to be far more useful than expected. Highly recommended if you want an easy way to refresh clothes and fabrics. Excellent value for money and genuinely effective.
