It's a nice lock and it works pretty well. The fingerprint reader takes a couple of tries. It should be more like cell phone fingerprint readers that take a couple of different views of your fingerprint and is able to have a better scanning success rate, but for the money this is a good lock. ### ⭐ Stopped working and company doesn’t respond to emails. *by P***L on November 22, 2019* Bought this item and installed it per the instructions. It worked just fine...for 3 days then the fingerprint part stopped working and became inoperable. Then it started just unlocking randomly and would not lock until resetting it. Came into the office with an unlocked door on 2 occasions. I emailed the company and got no response at all. I strongly urge anyone looking at these types of locks to stay clear of this one. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Finger print stopped working after a year. *by V***K on September 18, 2020* Have had this for a year now, has worked well until about a month ago (11 months total use). The finger print reader no longer works. The keypad works but the finger print scanner no longer works. We replaced the batteries and still no luck. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/124355906-scyan-x9-fingerprint-touchscreen-door-lock-non-handed-satin-nickel](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/124355906-scyan-x9-fingerprint-touchscreen-door-lock-non-handed-satin-nickel) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-18*
