This is the easy way to add them! *by J***A on Reviewed in the United States on June 22, 2019* I bought this for my 2007 Jaguar XK. Two things that are very sensitive on these cars are: A) electronics needing optimal voltage and B) engine temperature given many plastic parts of cooling system including water pump impeller. Two things that the car gives you no info about? Voltage and Coolant temperature. This just plugged into the OBD part under and left of the steering wheel column and I was able to cleanly route it and mount it in front of speedometer which isn't needed because the readout screen I use has speed, ECT (engine coolant temperature), and battery voltage. It gives me huge peace of mind for little cost and little effort to install in a clean way. The one change I had to make was to make Temperature go from Celsius to Fahrenheit. I had to read the included instructions. You have to be plugged into the car to do this. I tried using the USB at my computer in the house but couldn't get to the menu to do set up I needed that way. No big deal. I was also pleased that it turns on and off automatically as the car is started and then about 10 seconds after you shut car down. The temperature readout recorded the same as my OBD reader and the speedometer was right on the mark with my dashboard readout. If some readings are off a bit I believe I saw in the menu where you can manually calibrate them. I love the tool and recommend it for anyone who wants numeric readouts, not a light that comes AFTER a problem has occurred. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works for 04 VW Passat diesel OBD II *by D***. on Reviewed in the United States on October 26, 2019* Easy plug & play. Included 1 OBD II cable and 1 USB cable, connect to OBD II port on vehicles newer than 1996 , or use the USB (no cig adapter included). It immediately started displaying information. Works great on OBD and GPS in my 2004 VW Passat diesel. Minus 1 star because it doesn't work for my 2005 Chev Suburban .Speedometer accuracy is good and can be adjusted easily. The GPS info was also accurate for my location and travel direction. I would buy it again ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ GPS mode worked but OBD didn't *by H***1 on Reviewed in the United States on January 30, 2021* I had bought this unit to help my 76 year old mother to drive my 2004 Ford Ranger. It did not work in OBD mode, but it did work in GPS mode (was pretty accurate, only 1mph faster than actual speed). I also tried it on my 2011 Ford F-150, the OBD mode did work so the unit works as advertised. I have to admit it is kind of cool having a digital speedometer for all of 5 minutes. Then again I did buy it for her and not me. As far as helping her see the speedometer, it helped.
