We would be glad to receive your video on how you make it so we can have our customers benefit of your idea! **Q: My maki and hosomaki ( any roll with nori on the outside) will not roll they just slide down the machine. No problem rolling fushomaki ect. help?** A: This will happen if you put to much oily matter on the surface (like mayonnaise) that will make the nori slide too much on the mat. It could also happen if your handle is too high when you start rolling. If this happens, the first thing is to make sure that your handle is always touching the sides of the board so, keep it as low as possible. If this does not work, prevent the nori to slide by putting some pressure on the rice with one hand while you start rolling with the other hand. Once the movement is engaged, you can keep on rolling with both hands. If this happens again, please, send me a video on my Gmail so I can give you more advice.
