I do need to clean often as sometimes specs get inside cover.. Not sure how as it seems fairly well sealed. Very flexible. I would not be without it. Fits my Huawei P20 perfectly.. You do need to make sure all of the corners are fitted securely as it's easy to miss one when fitting..
