A few weeks later I planted another set outside in the garden in fertile soil mixed with some potting soil. We then had about 2 weeks of 50 degree temps with a lot of rain. They again rotted in the ground which was expected because of the unfavorable conditions. My last attempt a few weeks later (end of May) also ended the same way. Not a single seed even germinated. For as much money as they charge for these seeds I expected much better results. This was a disappointment to say the least.
