Some gunk from mixing contact lens solution with baking soda and glue. She has dozens of different recipes. But she’d never heard of magnetic slime. I used to have some grey silly putty that would slowly eat a magnet, and got the idea to give her this.Mix a couple of tablespoons of this in *while it’s still liquid* and the resultant slime is attracted to magnets. Since slime is a much lower viscosity than silly putty you can see the reaction in real time, which was cool.Wear gloves and cover your work surface.Once it’s thoroughly mixed in and the slime is cured or whatever, it’s still messy but not too bad.If you put the powder in after it’s no longer liquid, it will stick to the outside, and to everything else, not work as well, and make a huge mess in the process.
