The sand and smaller colorful seashells are free to move when you shake the sphere. Bury the shells, then shake the sphere. Watch the shells float back to the top, creating a new unique beach scene every time. Our hand blown glass is crystal clear, thick and very durable. Made in USA. Patent # 5,187,889
