The ability of 180 degree (a bit more, even) on vertical and horizontal gives you a lot of flexibility. They hold a 38" 140/230/450mhz antenna and a 96" Sirio p5000T 28-30 mhz antenna. I would say get this over a mag mount if you are able. Driven up to 85mph with the antennas mounted and only issue was the "impact fold" of my 3band antenna due to wind load.
