Wooden hoops were not great for holding the cloth and with circles usually the size to work was too small.While I love the size and shape of these hoops, they do slip a little as I stitch and I am needing to adjust the fabric often. Although this project is the first time using them so maybe other fabric may not shift as much with a stiffer Aida. Your stitches don’t pull and the fabric doesn’t get creased in the middle of the pattern. However, only the fabric that is in the corners of the hoop is tight. The fabric along the sides, especially the longer sides, and in the middle has too much give to it.
