All of the Playstations, heck even vintage consoles like Atari and Colecovision! I'm not sure which DVD and BluRay players it's compatible with, but as it is just a chair, I'm certain you'll find it's compatible with any device-powered activity in which you participate on your rear-end. **Q: I see this isn't height adjustable. How high is the seat from the floor?** A: I measured this as my seat was too low. It sits at 13.25" from the floor to the top of the seat cushion you sit on. I sat down on it, put the tape measure to the floor and rolled it up to the top of the seat cushion. It is exactly 34 cm. The manufacturer that says it is 17.25" is way off. Most normal chairs are at the 40 cm range, which is about 15.75". This seat is 2 inches below that. Everybody in our house that has tried to use these reports it is too low for a standard 27" desk. It is the lowest seat we have. I measured several times, both chairs we purchased, to verify. It is 34 cm seat height (from floor to top of seat cushion where you sit your butt). I compared to other swivel chairs, fixed chairs, all of which are near 40 cm (15.75"). The only chairs we have that sit as low as 13.25" (34 cm) are the folding picnic chairs you pack in a shoulder sling bag with soft fabric seats that dip low when you sit in them. You will exercise your knees to get out of this chair. It is low to the ground and not at all suitable for a gaming desk. **Q: How serious is that weight restriction? My husband's around 300 lbs.** A: Thank you for the interest in our RSP-900! Sorry we can only recommend up to 275 lbs. **Q: Is the width comfortable for adult male? 220 lbs. 5'11" ? These type of gaming chaits tend to make you feel very narrow.** A: Yes. 6'1" 225 and I'm comfortable for hours. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Red/black recliner (Respawn 900) is a great chair with only a few cons *by on Reviewed in the United States August 26, 2020* Our chair arrived one day prior to the estimated delivery date—a welcomed surprise. The chair is striking and looks exactly as pictured (red/black recliner). It feels and looks like leather but has a chemical smell. Which leads me to believe it’s pleather instead of leather. It smells like a new car but a bit more chemical-ly if that makes sense. My fiancé doesn’t mind the smell but I have a sensitive nose compared to his. It’s not overpowering and I suspect the smell will dissipate in a few weeks. The handles work smoothly and are not difficult at all. Some folks complained that they heard squeaking or the handles took muscle to operate. That’s not the case with ours. When we assembled the chair we made sure the screws were tightened well but not “so tight using all the strength we have” or we heard it would cause squeaking. The chair swivels and reclines. It does not rock. The foot rest is a nice feature when you just want to lay back and watch some tv. The head pillow does require adjustment for people 5’9 or above. My fiancé is 5’9 so when he sits in the chair he simply lifts it up higher. I’m 5’2 and it automatically sits perfectly at the base of my neck when I sit back. His feet do hang over a bit (a good foot) when the foot rest is extended but it’s still comfortable for him.The side pocket is a nice feature but it’s velcro’d under the armrest. It’ll hold your tv remote and maybe a few other small items but if the bag gets too heavy the velcro starts to detach. I would’ve preferred metal button attachments to secure the bag.The drink holder is a good average size. Fits a beer bottle/soda can/drinking glass with no problem. The bucket seat is on the cozier side. I weigh 135 lbs and the chair leaves about 4“ gaps on both sides. It makes me feel safe and secure in the chair, as it feels like a comfortable fit. My fiancé is about 190 lbs/medium build and the chair fits him cozier, leaving about 1-2” gaps on both sides. The chair looks like it was custom tailored to his width. My fiancé does sweat a bit when he games and since leather or pleather does not breathe, the chair gets warm or wet from the sweat. It doesn’t bother him because he used to sweat on the last chair he had. It hasn’t bothered him enough to lay down a towel or anything yet but we do gently wipe the chair down to remove the sweat.Overall, the chair is comfortable for gaming, reading, or watching TV. I wish they added a lumbar pillow for lower back support but that’s an easy fix with putting a small pillow back there. It’s a great chair and we’re very happy with the purchase. My fiancé really likes it. I’ll give an update in 6 mos. or so on how it’s doing & wear/tear. But so far, we highly recommend it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ High quality chair but could but taller *by on Reviewed in the United States January 10, 2026* Really awesome and high quality chair! Pretty easy assembly and feels very quality. My only complaints are the chair is pretty short and I haven’t found a way to raise it up (hopefully I’m just dumb and there is a way). Last complaint is the two handles on the side get locked into place and are very hard to put down.. not huge deals but do need to be mentioned. Overall a really awesome chair for the price and very comfortable! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A solid computer chair *by on Reviewed in the United States October 9, 2022* This has been by-far the best computer chair I have purchased. It is very comfortable to sit and relax in, it took 8 bolts and 6 nuts to assemble, and the transition from reclined to up-right is smooth. Everything was in perfect condition out of the box. I've seen some reviews of damaged goods, I am not in that category. However, as a person who likes to game and for those of you who have taller desks, here are some things to know before you purchase. The seat when you are fully up-right is still angled slightly back, meaning you are always being pulled towards the back of your seat. Now this does make things more comfortable when you are just relaxing, but if you are playing a game, and like me tend to lean forward, not so easy in this chair. The chair dose not raise or lower. It is fixed at one height, so if you have a higher desk, I would not recommend this chair for you. If you can control the height of your desk, then you should be ok.Lastly, the handle you use to extend the foot rest protrudes slightly past the chair. On occasion you could knock your leg on it which is a little annoying.Overall I gave the chair a 5/5 because it is a solid chair. However, for a well rounded chair for gaming, I would give it a 4/5. Hope this helps someone trying to decide what chair to pick. ## Frequently Bought Together - RESPAWN 900 Gaming Recliner - Video Games Console Recliner Chair, Computer Recliner, Adjustable Leg Rest and Recline, Recliner with Cupholder, Reclining Gaming Chair with Footrest - Red - Frassie 28 Inch Heavy Duty Nylon Gaming Office Chair Base Replacement Part with 5 Casters --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/125262243-respawn-900-gaming-recliner-chair-with-footrest-cup-holder-swivel](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/125262243-respawn-900-gaming-recliner-chair-with-footrest-cup-holder-swivel) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-20*
