Well thought out grade A product!
Overall nice product. Instructions were clear, and hardware was of good quality. That said, things that could be addressed.1. The sheet metal screws in the kit are WAY to short to use as temp securement of plates to drill out holes.2. Use better double-sided sticky tape that is slightly thicker if possible so that it stays attached to the not so flat bracket.3. Spacers plates only come pre-drilled for two holes, the plates cover up the other ones, modify this by making plate shorter.I cannot wait to use this system, it looks clean, solid, and strong. Also, the L-bracket that bolts to frame mount is awesome. It used the factory weep holes drilled into the bed and located a hole directly under that for the tie in to the frame mount. CLEAN install...... I have a 2002 Chevy Silverado 1500 with a 6.6 ft. bed.

Needs better discription.
Buying a "kit" implies all brackets and hardware are include for complete installation. However upon unboxing and reading instructions, I do not have the stabilizer bar which is an extra item that I need to order. Meanwhile, until the stabilizer bar is shipped and arrives, I am leery of the rear attachment which is on the rear bumper via holes drilled and the tie down bolted to. My concern is the strength this attachment point will have to secure the camper and not bend or warp the bumper. There is not much bracing at the outside edge of the bumper. Installing "kit" on a 2005 Silverado 2500 HD, 4x4, extended cab.

Fits a 2001 Chevy Silverado
Easy to install, but don’t forget the not included long bar that also needs to be purchased. Works great for our camper on the Chevy!

One person, 2 1/2 hours
Being mechanically inclined the install was straightforward. Just take your time and read the instructions related to your application. If you have a 3/8 x 24 tap, carefully use if to clean the paint from the threads being careful not to cross thread when cleaning.

The description is not very good in determining whether it’ll fit your vehicle it was missing the stabilizer bar I had to purchase separately I wish there was more info about this, luckily the local rv store had it in stock. Seems to be working well..

good product but a litle dificult to install
Number 1, you need the rod part182971. I thought i could save $70 bucks and forget the rod connecter. I thought it was just a placement aid to drill the holes and it is, but it is also a structural part that puts a load on the opposite side. The brackets that fit on the outside front of bed ( eye piece that sticks out) have hard epoxy paint in the holes that are threaded. The alignment of the bolts is critical and could easily cross thread the bolts and the bracket might have only three threads because it is thin. I tapped out the threads before i began so it would go smoothly and even then it was difficult to get it aligned not to cross thread.

Works great and easy to install
They work great and took only took about 30 mins to install by myself on my 2006 Chevy 3500 extended cab long box.

Great product...
Just have to make adjustments as you go, do not take the installation instructions as being totally accurate. Had to change part of the installation since when the cross bar was attached the distance to the edge of the bed was not correct, could not get other parts installed. So make some modifications and everything worked.
