Review: I love my aerial silks! - The practice of aerial hammock makes me feel so alive and free! I wanted to bring the experience that I had in the studio home, so I got this starter kit on a deal day and I'm so glad that I did! The silks are stretchier than at the studio and more of a performance silk quality, so they do tend to dig into you a little more than a studio silk might, but it also gives you a lot more freedom of movement and room to grow! The kit comes with everything that you need to hang your silks or hammock from a tree, but if you want to hang it from the ceiling inside you'll need more hardware. I've had them for about six months now and they're holding up well! I hang them from a tree outside and bring them inside during bad weather. It's even caught on the tree bark a couple of times and so far hasn't damaged the fabric, so it's good quality! Overall, I'm so pleased and still so excited that I can have access to this at home.

**Q: Does this come as a hammock because I am looking for regular silks?**
A: It doesn’t come attached to the rigging included. You can set it up as a hammock or as a split silk. I set mine up as regular silks

**Q: Are these silks able to Machine Wash & dry?**
A: Yes.

**Q: is this a silk you could do double foot locks on or is this just the hammock??**
A: Not just the hammock. You can do double foot locks.

**Q: I see there are silks that are two separate silks and some create a U. Which is better? Can you make the two into a hammock?**
A: Single silk pulled half way through the ring then tied so that both ends hang down. I wouldn't make a hammock out of them.
