(only works on smooth plank, may need to dampen either cups or plank slightly with water to achieve good grip) Once firmly attached use the supplied mallet to hit the metal base of the cup in the direction plank needs to slide. Don't be afraid to hit it hit it hard, gap should start to close. Depending on what happens you may now need to close a smaller gap behind the plank you just moved. Repeat until all gaps are gone. I was truly amazed how well and how easy this worked for me.
