I was looking for a less expensive alternative to the Chi one that I had for 10 years and really liked a lot. Alas, this flat iron felt and looked cheaply made. It didn't feel solid like my old Chi flat iron. The plates didn't quite touch each other. I could see daylight between them unless I squeezed hard. It also just slid through my hair without really straightening it. I felt like it wasn't even touching my hair. I tried several passes through my hair, but it just didn't do the job. I was very disappointed because of all the great reviews. I don't understand why there are so many. It seemed like a flat iron you would get at Walmart or Target. ### ⭐ Not even worth the money. First of all I don’t think it gets half as hot as it is supposed to. If it did it would actually straighten my hair. My chi was 400 degrees and worked like a charm. I have to put this to max temp just to try to get this to work. This is not even close to professional grade. I’d say you don’t even get what you pay for. You could find a much cheaper version elsewhere that probably works the same. Trust me. Buy the chi - in comparison it’s worth every penny!!!
