I bought the green one for my mom for Christmas. Great quality product. She is in the habit of reading the paper in bed. Then letting the newspaper drop to the floor. I suggested she put the city provided recycling bin in her bedroom. But she explained that it was too heavy and large for her to carry it around. This was the perfect solution!! Light weight and just the right size. She loves it. So I just bought her and myself some of these blue ones. (The seller had reduced the price due to the smell, making these an even better value.) And the smell is not that bad. It was gone after a day of airing out. ### ⭐⭐ Smell needs 4 weeks to air out. *by B***I on Reviewed in the United States on June 19, 2015* It works, but airing it out for two weeks really wasn't worth it. It took more like a month to get rid of the smell. I should have spent more and got something that was already aired out. I'd never thought I'd down rate something for smell but this thing a strong mothball odor and it's probably not safe to breath that stuff. I had to put mines in the shed so I wouldn't have to worry about it getting rained on. Other than that, it works just as well you'd expect. They are terrific for caddying clean recyclables from inside the house to the nasty recycling bins outside the house. Especially good for households in neighborhoods without single stream recycling, as they are an easy, affordable way to separate the items.
