One of these variations is the supported resolutions. Many of the suppliers do not specify the supported resolutions (some don't even know), but it's worth asking before purchase. In general, the supported resolutions match common resolutions of old CRT televisions. I have not found any in this form factor that support anything higher than 1024x768, and many only go as high as 800x600. The resolutions of most televisions (even many called Hi-Def) are considerably lower than computer monitors, and even 1024x768 is illegible on anything except very large televisions. It is highly likely, however, that the 320x240 resolution is supported by the device you're viewing, as that is a common TV-compatible resolution and all the ones I've researched and bought have supported it. Just remember, the devices' specifications vary considerably despite looking identical or even being in the same Amazon listing. One time, I got two devices with different specs from the same seller.
