They are comfortable, the wool is not scratchy and the colors are lovely. I waited to review these until I washed them and they passed the washer-dryer test completely (no sagging, no loss of softness). These are excellent socks and well worth the price. ### ⭐⭐ Why the good reviews... you must not have met Costco's wool socks yet *by K***Y on November 6, 2018* So I purchased these to wear under ankle boots, first you have to fold them so they do not show. And after one use, the material is flat. True wool socks absorb and release sweat however these remain moist like a cotton sock. The knit is loose so they do not keep you typically warm while outside like most wool socks do..
