I got the mod kit from Dave at Advanced Circuits (CA). Wow what a nice mice. Be sure to tell Dave what you would be putting his 47 kit in. It makes a difference. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ With a new capsule, it sounds lovely. *by B***S on May 20, 2014* I purchased this mic to mod. Out of the box, it was overly bright. I replaced the capsule with a K47 style unit, replaced the stock tube with an Electro Harmonix 12AY7, replaced the output electrolytic with a 2.2 uF metal film cap, and removed the RF suppression caps from across the output transformer. I also replaced the zenners in the psu with 62 volt diodes. The stock output transformer sounds fine to me, so I will probably not bother to replace it.The mic now sounds like a million bucks. This is a great mic to mod.
