Delivering fast, reliable and accurate measurement of ozone levels in drinking water, food processing, bottled water and soft drinks, the Rosemount 499AOZ54VP Amperometric Ozone Sensor features of a gas-permeable membrane suitable for the determination of dissolved ozone in both municipal and industrial applications. This reliable water ozone measuring device has an operating temperature range of 32 to 122 degrees Fahrenheit (0 to 50 degrees Celsius) and a measurement range of 0 to 3 ppm (mg/L) as O3. It features a fast, accurate response time, taking just 30 seconds to reach 90 percent of the final reading at 25 degrees Celsius.Designed for longevity and user convenience, the unit’s housing is molded from rugged ozone-resistant polysulfone. Maintenance of the ozone monitor is fast and easy, requiring no special tools or fixtures to service the membrane. Built for reliability, this ozone sensor features automatic compensation for changes in membrane permeability, and a flexible bladder that equalizes membrane pressure to prevent distortion and ensure little impact on sensor responsiveness when pressure changes.Model 499AOZ54VP includes a Variopol (VP6) watertight connector that allows you to easily replace the sensor to without running new cable. Cable is sold separately and comes in various lengths.Includes 3 replacement membrane assemblies, 3 O-rings and a 4-ounce (125 mL) bottle of electrolyte solution. This membrane-covered amperometric sensor is intended for use with Rosemount model 1056, 56, 5081-A and 1066 analyzers. Several mounting configurations are possible. For most applications, the low flow cell is recommended.
