You can actually feel the paint getting smoother as you apply it (but it still isn't "clay bar" smooth). Put 2 coats on truck (3 on hood and roof), had enough to do hood and roof of Toyota (big roof). Both came out much better than started (Toyota more so, but it has better paint to start with). Overall I'm impressed on day one. Will this stuff just was off like olive oil over the next 3 months? I don't know. Time will tell. I own a detailing shop and was just trying different products just for fun. You MUST wash, clay bar, paint correct and give an alcohol bath to all the surfaces you are applying this to or it will not work.
