The Ascentia MICROLET Lancets work very well. They work as advertised. 2. It will take you several "false starts" in order to learn how to use the glucose tester, the test strips, the lancets and the lancet "gun". This will mean using several MICROLET Lancets and several test strips. 3. If you need to take several blood glucose readings each day, you will go through many more lancets. 4. Get yourself a small official medical waste container to store the used test strips and lancets. 5. One poke only with a lancet! If you don't draw enough blood, with it, toss it into the medical waste container and get a new one. 6. Do not attempt to use your fingers to re-attach the cap to the lancet. Place the cap on the table and "stab" it with the lancet until the cap is attached.
