However, the lid does not fit tightly enough to keep the glue from drying out. I thought if I put the sponge in a Tupperware container it would stay without drying out, but it got mildew in the container. Even with the original container, it took too long for the glue to come back to the top after being upside down and it couldn't be stored that way because the original lid would leak. Before the other container, I tried wrapping it with plastic wrap and then rubber bands around the container to keep the lid on tight but that didn't work either... it was a sticky mess. ### ⭐ Messy *by D***N on Reviewed in the United States on May 16, 2019* I was very excited to try this product. First and only try was on a small lace paper leaf. Looked like a pre-K child glued it up! Very sticky! Stuck to my fingers and tore apart when I tried to glue it to my card.
