**Q: Which way up should the white interlock be pointing...up or down?**
A: I attached the piece with the white interlock facing up to the doorframe. I attached the piece with the cap & long thread to the door facing down. It worked for me & I find it easy to life the door up & off when I need to. I guess it could work the other way around but I had a limited area on the door edge to work with & I found it easier to ‘screw’ the thread piece into the door. Good luck with whichever way you decide
