They are cut beautifully and have a very flattering fit. They are actually as long in the back as pictured, which I love. The back comes almost to the back of my knees and I am 5'4". The material is very nice, but has no stretch at all. It was almost too snug in the shoulder/top of the arm area and since it has no stretch, I would definitely suggest sizing up if you have broader shoulders or arm area. I normally wear a L or XL, and I ordered the XL and so glad I did or else it wouldn't have fit in the shoulders. I also love the pretty cuff on the bottom of the sleeves. The sleeves are longer than 3/4 on me.
