Initially, I thought it was working as poorly as my original had started (very difficult to get to do anything). Looked all over, couldn't find any instructions or info about programming. Suddenly I came across a Samsung diagram for my tv, which had a big red circle around the bottom right hand corner of the tv and labeled it "Remote SENSOR."I looked up at my tv and, feeling like the stupidest person in the world, saw the stack of DVDs in front of that very spot. Moved them, then this remote (and my old one) were immediately working at warp speed-- NO instructions & NO programming needed.This is one of those things if you are reading where you muse, "People are SO stupid," but yes, it happened to me too. :)My husband said that most hotels now have stickers next to the remote sensors to point them out because people were always calling down about remotes not working, so I guess I'm not alone in this.
