I get eczema on my hands if I wash them too much, so wearing gloves helps that; BUT, wearing gloves for extended times irritates my skin as well. These gloves are better than others that I have tried for extended wear. They don't seem to irritate my skin.They are thinner than other gloves, but this is entirely a good thing, because it gives you unimpeded movement and more dexterity. They are durable despite being thin: I haven't broken one yet and I've been through over 100 already. Also, it goes without saying that nothing gets through them (They are rated to be used for chemotherapy chemicals, which are pretty nasty.) I wear thicker gloves for working on the car, but I use these for all other household tasks that are either unsanitary or could irritate my skin (except the dishes, I use reusable gloves for that.) These work really well for almost every normal use. However, they are thinner than some others and did tear when used in a project while dyeing couches - trying to protect the hands from getting dyed. This was with aggressive scrubbing with a mit over the glove. I did know when I bought them that they were designed thinner, so this is no fault to the gloves. Although value-priced and fairly durable these are very thin material, 3.5 mils. 100/box and the little extra length is a plus.
