See through battery compartment cover is a nice feature over other similar products as can easily see if there is any corrosion or moisture accumulating. Headband adjustments work well, unit stays securely in place even when moving around. Most important for me is the product is powered by three AA batteries. Using rechargeable batteries is a device like this just doesn't make sense to me given possibility of usage in conditions where there is no possibility of obtaining electricity for a recharge. This is one of the only remaining headlights I could find that still runs on AA batteries.

Very good product use it for work bought a couple now and not bad for the price. Had a couple downsides the batteries to come loose even when covered you have to push them back in through the clear plastic. Also sometimes the wire going into the lamp comes loose and doesn’t fully make contact causing it to suddenly turn off.
