I have noticed many people complain about the rubber strap. I have a normal size wrist so I do not have any problem putting this watch on. While some may claim that the rubber strap makes the watch look cheap, I would argue otherwise. The black rubber band has a nice matte look that accents the dial fantastically. In fact, I don't think the watch would look as nice if it had a metal band or some other alternative. The rubber is also comfortably made. So when you put on this watch, it fits perfectly to your wrist without any discomfort. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase. PS. If you are a guy who values brand history, just know that this watch was worn by Will Smith in MIB 3. Except his was the silver on black style. Also, this is a limited edition watch that was made to commemorate when Elvis wore his Ventura.
