They can't be bent to shape around the ear as some other models. The solution is to use a retainer system. These work well, but the opening is a bit too narrow to fit perfectly. It takes some pressure to slip them over the thick ends of the Wayfarers. As a result, after wearing them for several months, they eventually split from the tension and need to be replaced. However, as they are not expensive, I just order new retainers and slip them on. I also use them on my sport glasses and they work very well. I just wish they came in different sizes to use with different glasses. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ MY GLASSES STAY IN PLACE!!! Little rubber stems... my heavy glasses... my slippery nose bridge... No way! I was wrong. In fact, I only use one!Years ago I stopped wearing larger framed glasses because my heavy prescription would keep them sliding away from my eyes and thus made me constantly push them up so I could see properly. Recently, I went back to a more stylish (or so I hope) heavier frame and when my prescription went in, the sliding glasses came back! My wife found this retainer system and I had them express shipped. When I got them, I said, "Oh, these little things are a joke! They won't help and they'll never even slide over the end of my earpiece!" I was wrong on all counts.When you get them, you'll see that the earpiece hole is tiny - don't panic! Take your time and slowly slide them over your earpiece - they will stretch, just don't push too hard and rip them, it will take about 60-90 seconds to get them where you want them. The rubber arm gently rests against the back of your ear and you'll have to move them a bit to get them where you want for comfort and you'll get used to them in about a week. Putting your glasses on will be a bit different from what you're used to, you'll have to flip the rubber arm back when you put them on, and it took me about two weeks before my "putting on" technique flowed smoothly. The rubber arm holds the glasses in place quite well and you can tweak their position to align your glasses for where ever you want them on your face.These are simply amazing. Getting them on the ends of the frame is a bit of a challenge, but when you get them on, they stay put. They are made of rubber, and they hook behind your ears to hold your glasses in place so they don't slide around, or slide off when you look down. It is not obvious how they should go on, but you can put them on and take them off and move them around until you find what works for you.They are pretty rugged and seem to last a long time, but I stopped using these. This is because they get caught in my hair a lot, and also they are hard to adjust so that they don't irritate your ears when you wear them for a long time. It was hard to find a position for these that would allow me to not have to re-adjust them occasionally due to them becoming uncomfortable.
