My only complaint is if you leave it off for more than two days it starts to grow stuff. But I assume this happens with all humidifiers and standing water in general. I was reading the reviews to see if anyone else said anything about this and I was amazed to find only a 3.3 rating. This product is silent, lasts two days with the water tank and only takes up a little space. I have not diffused essential oils in this alleged tray, but I will try soon. I only used it four or five times. I then didn't use it for a month. The next time I used it, it would not work. From what I can tell, the mist intensity knob stopped working and stayed on the lowest setting. Mist barely came out of the unit. It is on, but does nothing. I cleaned it as instructed. Still nothing. It has a 6 month guarantee so I contacted the company. They told me to clean it. I did that. I have contacted them three times. No response. They aren't standing behind their product. My unit is defective and they won't fix it. My window to return is closed. I have a useless humidifier. I wasted money on this device and I'm not happy that they won't correct it.
