I would buy some of these, throw one in and a month or two later the same problem would happen. Sometimes the heating element would blow too so I'd replace that too.I tried some combination of replacing just about all the parts (thermostat, wires, heating element, these fuses, etc) and cleaning out the lower right of the dryer and the exhaust vent to the roof probably over 6-8 times in a year period, so I was getting frustrated.I finally decided to remove the drum and look underneath and it was completely full of lint (see before and after pictures).If you are having the same symptoms then it might be worth trying. There are videos on youtube to show how to remove and reinstall the drum.
