Review: Does what it’s supposed to! - I had a blood pressure monitor from the doctor for a week to monitor my BP. Handed it back with my readings and was told all was ok. I decided to buy my own machine so I could take my own readings and if there was anything out of the ordinary then I could speak with the doctor and have a history of my BP. This device is very easy to use. Pop the cuff on and press start - it does the rest and then displays the result at the end. It also stores your past few results which you can access by pressing the mem button. I have been using this twice a day for 2 weeks and it still hasn’t needed charged up. Battery life seems really good! It charges via the enclosed usb cable, or you can plug the usb cable into a usb wall plug if you have one. The other thing that I liked is the included large cuff fits! The one from the doctor was a medium which didn’t fit my fat arm so had to swap it! If you have larger upper arms, this cuff will fit!!
Review: Excellent - A lot of thought seems to have gone into every aspect of this blood pressure monitor. Starting from the packaging, through the instructions for use and the quality of the manual to the monitor itself - everything is of a high quality. Based on several years of blood pressure measurements the values I am getting with this machine are spot on and show excellent repeatability. The incorporation of a rechargeable battery adds an extra level of reliability of the measurements and a great level of convenience. The battery lasts for at least a week and the design of the monitor (black background with white numbers) probably helps with this. My only criticism (and this is a temporary issue) is that the adhesion of the velcro of the inflatable sleeve is initially too strong and this makes it hard to adjust the wrapping of the sleeve around the patients arm.

Results are reasonably accurate and correlate well with the doctor's machine. However the machine loses track of date and time and gives very little warning of low battery.
