As someone who dyes their own hair with these kinds of colors, I tried it on myself before using it on my dog so I could know what I was getting into. USE GLOVES. This dye is very pigmented and will stain your hands and anything else it touches. Squeeze the dye into a bowl and use a hair dying brush or a comb to distribute it evenly into the fur, just trying to rub it in with your hands can create a patchy result. Let it dry for a half hour and then rinse and shampoo. The dye is a little drying so I suggest using a pet conditioner if your pet has long fur. If you're careful when you use it I think the pay off is very worth it.
