I opened up the dead battery and found a poor soldering job on the straps that connect the battery pack to the charge controller board. I resolderd the straps and I am going to put it on charge. Second issue was the insulators between the contacts stuck up too high and prevented the battery from sliding onto the charger. A few seconds with a dremel tool solved that issue. Hopefully they will be trouble free in the future. I have seen several comments about the batteries going bad after a few uses, it maybe worth while to check the solder joints.Update, the one battery will not charge above 6 volts. Then my gas string trimmer took a huge dump, so I broke out the old old B&D string trimmer and went to work. These battery packs are so light it almost feels like there's nothing inside, but of course there is.
