What I have found is that the travel size seems to last just as long as the regular size, and that has more to do with how fast the product dries out rather than the quantity of goo inside. So you get a lot more bang for your buck by buying the small tubes - that's my experience anyway. My only little disappointment with this mascara is the huge wand.
