Being able to take the phone out of the wallet but still give it some protection is also a plus if a car holder is used. The ability to take a couple of cards without a separate wallet can be useful but see the comment below. Getting a similar case for my iPhone X was a must buy.This case is a very good quality product. It is very solidly made offering good protection of the screen and the phone in general. The phone is a secure tight fit and the magnet holding the phone into the wallet is strong enough to provide a good grip. All buttons are easily accessible. So why only three stars?One of the plus points of the iPhone X and the iPhone 8 is wireless charging and that will not work with this case. The tight secure fit of the phone works against it here as trying to get the phone out every time a charge is needed is a real pain and rather defeats the object of just dropping the phone on the charging pad.Another point is not in any way a criticism of this case but a problem using phone wallets with Apple Pay. More and more cards now have Contactless so having these cards in the wallet means that when the wallet is placed near a reader to use Apple Pay there is a good chance that a card in the wallet will be debited instead. I keep a free travel pass in the wallet and every time I use it the phone tries to take a payment. But this case unlike other's I have bought before doesn't feel like it will last more than 6 months.
