So I thought I'd fill it with butane and try it out. It wouldn't light. Multiple trigger pushes it'd finally light, but not stay on. I assumed it was defective.The zippo arrived I put the insert in anyway (had nothing to lose) and it worked perfectly. Not sure why it didn't work initially, but once it's put in the zippo it works as advertised. I'm not a smoker, but have the need for a flame to test heat sensors at work, melting paracord and melting the ends of these no tie shoe laces.this zippo insert is perfect for those uses.
