It is worn on the wrist so suffers from usual wear and tear of any exercise program. For the past six months, I walked four to five miles a day about five to six days weekly in the hot climes of southern Florida. You can also wear in the shower, but experience suggest this adds to the wear of this product. This is just th band that holds the device that stores and records exercise regimen totals. This replacement mirrors original and secures the fitbit nicely.
