It is EXACTLY like an inexpensive, much lower quality Chinese crepe that I've tried before. That being said, it is also half the price, so I can work with it. I am not disappointed, just not as pleased with its quality and the different weave lines going through the paper (I imagine to give it more body/make it more sturdy). The German-made product somehow was sturdy on its own and looked almost like fabric.
