They are made here in the U.S. and these cards are unique. They are clear in portions of the cards which is kind of fun. To me, they aren't as easy to handle as "normal" playing cards, but the uniqueness makes up for that. They are waterproof so if someone spills something on them, you can just rinse them off, which is something you can't do with regular playing cards.
