I ordered the 2pk so my husband and I can both replace our old flat pillows. They come rolled up like a burrito and are sealed in plastic as soon as you cut the plastic the pillow immediately puffs up. I believe you can also put them in the dryer for a few minutes to help with the fluffing. I am mostly a back sleeper but I do move to my side at times so these work great for me. They are soft and fluffy yet firm, my head doesn't sink all the way down when I lay on them. I really like that they come with their own pillow covering. I chose to still use a pillow case over that, one that matches my sheets however I suppose its not really needed. I haven't had to wash them yet but they are machine washable which is good since I have a fur pup that likes to plop herself on all my pillows with her dirty paws and whatnot. I normally sleep with two pillows but since we brought these in the house I have been using just one. My neck doesn't hurt and my hubby seems to have less headaches. Im not sure it has to do with the pillow but it is very possible.
