There is something different at the top collar compared to the original, so when everything is assembled and tightened up, the hot end wiggles a bit. A wiggly nozzle is a worthless nozzle, so I went back to the original R1 method of using two screws that go into the side of the carriage. This resulted in a nice, solid fit.This hot end heats up very quickly, about twice as fast as the original. The heat element must be a higher power model, but it doesn’t seem to strain the power supply. I was worried that I might have to modify the firmware for the different thermistor, but it seems to work properly with the old settings.The print quality is fine with the new nozzle, and it’s not leaky at all.The only issue that I have with it is that it’s not a perfect fit with the quick release plate, and I would have liked that it came with a silicone cover for the heat block. Other than those things, it’s a good replacement. ### ⭐⭐ Throws errors but easy fix. Bent. *by R***Y on Reviewed in the United States on October 17, 2019* As someone who shouldn’t be allowed to work on anything electronic, I have a history of breaking things. For that reason, I purchased this item. After receiving and installing the hotend, it printed once and then started to stop printing. After reading through some forums, I figured out the issue.When you install the hotend, you will need to go in and adjust the fan settings so it doesn’t give temp errors on stop printing and throwing out errors. Mine is set to 20, 30, and 40. After fixing that issue, I’m now able to print without issue.I’m happy with my purchase and, if another is needed, I’ll definitely buy another of the same.Edit: Five months post purchase and installation, the hot end stopped heating mid-print and clogged fairly often. I’ll be looking into getting a new hotend...again.Edit to add for May 24, 2020 purchase: Attempted to make a print this morning with the newly received hot end and it looked like so.
