Box lid was not crisp when I received it, but I didn't think much of it and wrapped it. When we opened it one of the spoons was broken in half right at the handle. I let Samsali know and right away they sent out a complete new set. I have to say they seem like a company that is really interested in standing behind their product. That said I still question if the material is thick enough in critical points. They told me that they had only had one other broken one reported. So time will tell.
